In vineyard | Franciacorta Riserva Lucrezia Etichetta Nera is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, carefully selected from vineyards over 30 years old, located in the terraced slopes of Monte Orfano. The predominantly limestone soil in this area lends exceptional longevity to the fruit. Extremely low yields per hectare ensure optimal ripeness and remarkable structure. The Pinot Noir vines used for this reserve are the oldest and most prized on the estate. | |

In cellar | After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed in a completely inert environment, and only the first pressing is used to create this reserve. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is left on its lees, which are regularly stirred using the bâtonnage technique. Following secondary fermentation in the bottle, Riserva Lucrezia Etichetta Nera ages on the lees for over 120 months. | |

Pinot Noir is an extraordinary and complex grape variety that reveals its full authenticity in the glass. On the nose, notes of red berries emerge, harmoniously intertwined with pronounced balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is dry and persistent, with remarkable finesse and elegance.
The 2011 harvest was classified by the Franciacorta Consortium as one of the best vintages of the past 15 years. It allowed us to fully enhance the unique characteristics of the grapes and to produce an outstanding Reserve made exclusively from Pinot Noir.
A Franciacorta for special occasions, it pairs perfectly with rich, boldflavored dishes and ingredients such as Pata Negra, Grana Padano, and Foie Gras.
